MAYON CAMP LEVELS

  • Base Camp : approximately 250 meters or 800 feet in height
  • Camp 1 : approximately 700 meters or 2,300 feet in height
  • Camp 2 : approximately 1,800 meters or 5,900 feet in height
  • Knife’s Edge : approximately 2,200 meters or 7,300 feet in height

PACKAGES

Package A: Hike to Lava Rocks (2009)

Duration of Activity: 3-4 Hours (Half Day)

Level of Difficulty: Easy Trek (Recommended for all levels of Climbers)

Itinerary:

0700 Hours — Pick-up at Hotel / Proceed to Mayon Base Camp in the town of Sto. Domingo
0745 Hours — Arrival in Base Camp in Town of Sto. Domingo Albay / Start of Trek to Lava Rocks / Rest / Picture Taking / Start of Descend
1130 Hours — Arrival in Base Camp / Leave For Legazpi City
1200 Hours — Arrival in Legazpi City / End of Tour

Package Inclusions:

  1. Transfer from hotel to mayon base camp then back to Hotel with an all terrain car.
  2. Service of a trail master
  3. Service of a porter (if necessary)

Package Exclusions : Food, Drinks and Tips.

Package B: Hike to Station 1

Duration of Activity: 3-4 Hours (Half Day)

Level of Difficulty: Easy Trek

Itinerary:

0700 Hours — Pick-up at Hotel / Proceed to Mayon Base Camp in the town of Sto. Domingo
0800Hours — Arrival in Drop of Point in Upper Bonga, Bacacay Albay / Start of Trek to Station 1 / Rest / Picture Taking / Start of Descend
1130 Hours — Arrival in Drop of Point / Leave For Legazpi City
1300 Hours — Arrival in Legazpi City / (End of Tour)

Package Inclusions:

  1. Transfer from hotel to drop of point then back to hotel with an all terrain car.
  2. Services of a Trail Master
  3. Services of a porter (if necessary)

Package Exclusions: Food, Drinks and Tips.

Package C: Trek to Station 2

Duration of Activity: Minimum of 8 Hours, Maximum of 10 Hours (Whole Day)

Level of Difficulty: Intermediate Climbers

Itinerary:
0600 Hours — Pick-Up from the Hotel / Proceed to the Drop of Point in Upper Bonga, Bacacay Albay / Arrival in the Drop of Point in Upper Bonga, Bacacay Albay / Leave for Station 1 / Arrival in Station 1 / Rest / Leave for Station 2
1200 Hours — Arrival in Station 2 / Lunch / Rest / Leave for Drop of Point / Arrival in Drop of Point / Proceed to Legazpi City
1500 Hours — Estimated Time of Arrival in Legazpi City / (End of Tour)

Package D: Trek to Knife’s Edge

Duration of Activity: Minimum of 10 Hours, Maximum of 12 Hours (One Day)

Level of Difficulty: Strong Climbers

Itinerary:
0400 Hours — Pick-Up from the Hotel / Proceed to the Drop of Point in town of Sto. Domingo / Arrival in the Base Camp in town of Sto. Domingo / Leave for Camp 1 / Arrival in Camp 1 / Rest / Leave for Camp 2
1100 Hours — Arrival in Camp 2 / Lunch / Rest / Assault for Knife’s Edge / Arrival in Knife’s Edge / Leave for Camp 1, Rest and then back to Base Camp / Arrival in Base Camp / Proceed to Legazpi City
1700 Hours — Estimated Time of Arrival in Legazpi City / (End of Tour)

Package E: Trek to Crater

Duration of Activity: (2 Days One Night)

Level of Difficulty: Difficult Trek

Itinerary:

Day 1 @ 1100 Hours — Pick-Up from the Hotel / Proceed to the Drop of Point in Upper Bonga, Bacacay Albay / Arrival in the Drop of Point Leave for Station 1 / Arrival in Station 1 (Over Night) / Dinner in Station 1
Day 2 @ 0600 Hours — After Breakfast Leave for Station 2 / Arrival in Station 2, rest then Assault for Crater / Arrival in the Crater / Rest / Picture Taking / Lunch / Leave for Station 1, Rest and then to Drop of Point / Arrival in Drop of Point / Proceed to Legazpi City
1700 Hours — Estimated Time of Arrival in Legazpi City / (End of Tour)

Package Inclusions:

  1. Climbing equipment.
  2. Service of a trail guide.
  3. Dinner, Breakfast and Lunch.
  4. Accommodation in station 1 with clean toilet and comfortable nipa huts.
  5. Transfer from hotel to drop of point then back to hotel with an all terrain car.
